- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 onion

- 4 cups of water

Method
- Wash the rice in cold water until the water runs clear, then soak it in cold water for 15 minutes.
- While the rice is soaking, peel and slice the onions and garlic.
- Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat, then add the onions and garlic and sauté until they are soft and translucent.
- Add the cumin, turmeric, and salt to the pot and stir well.
- Peel the bananas and slice them into rounds.

- Remove the pot from the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes before fluffing the rice with a fork.
