- 1 cup Daawat Brown Basmati Rice - 2 cups water - 1 onion, chopped - 2 garlic cloves, minced - 1 teaspoon cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon coriander powder - 1 teaspoon garam masala - 1 teaspoon turmeric powder - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil - Salt to taste

Method

1. Rinse the Daawat Brown Basmati Rice in cold water and drain. 2. In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat. 3. Add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds. 4. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic and sauté until they are translucent. 5. After 25-30 minutes, turn off the heat and let the rice sit for 5 minutes. 10. Fluff the rice with a wooden spoon and serve hot.
