- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons of green onions, chopped

Method
- Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear.
- Place the rice and water in a large pot and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot with a lid, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- While the rice is cooking, heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic to the pan and sauté for 3-4 minutes.

- Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and black pepper to the pan and stir to combine.
- Remove the pan from the heat and set aside.
- Once the rice is done cooking, remove it from the heat and let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and add the vegetable mixture to the pot.
- Stir to combine and heat the rice and vegetables over low heat for an additional 5-10 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
