- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Method
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula or wooden spoon as it cooks.
- Add the onion, green pepper, and garlic to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
- Add the paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine, and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Add the rice to the skillet and stir to combine with the meat and vegetables. Cook for 1-2 minutes to toast the rice slightly.
- Add the chicken broth to the skillet and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet with a lid.
- Cook for 18-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid has been absorbed.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and let it sit, covered, for 5-10 minutes to allow the rice to absorb any remaining liquid.
- Fluff the rice with a fork and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
