Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups water

Method

  1. Place the onion, carrots, celery, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper in a large pot.
  2. Add the brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, molasses, salt, black pepper, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, garlic, and water to the pot.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
  4. Reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 45 minutes.
  5. Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Pour the mixture into a blender and blend until smooth.
  7. Store the sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
