Method

  4. Add the ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute.
  5. Add the coconut milk and salt. Bring it to a boil.
  6. Drain the soaked rice and add it to the boiling coconut milk mixture.
  7. Cover the pot and cook the rice on low heat for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the coconut milk has been absorbed.
  8. Once the rice is cooked, turn off the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes.
