Method

  1. Sort and rinse the dried beans and set them aside.

  10. Place the lid back on the electric pressure cooker and select the high pressure function. Set the timer for an additional 15 minutes.
  11. Once the timer goes off, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
  12. Serve the red beans and sausage over cooked rice.
