- Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Stir for a minute.
- Add chopped coriander leaves, garam masala, and red chili powder. Mix well.
- Add soaked basmati rice and salt to taste. Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add 2 cups of water and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and cover the pan with a lid. Let it simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
