  8. Add the soaked rice to the pot and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Add 2 cups of water and salt to taste. Mix well.
  10. Cover the pot and let the rice cook on a low flame for 15-20 minutes.
  11. Once the rice is cooked, turn off the flame and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  12. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve hot.
