Method

  1. Take a bowl and add cooked rice to it.
  2. Add curd to the bowl and mix well using a wooden spoon.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and asafoetida to it.
  4. As the mustard seeds start to pop, add finely chopped green chillies and curry leaves to the pan.
  5. Sauté for a few seconds and then add the seasoning to the rice and curd mixture.
  6. Add salt to taste and mix well.
  7. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes so that the flavors can blend together.
  8. Your simple curd rice is ready to serve.
