Ingredients

Method

1. Remove the giblets and neck from the turkey and rinse it inside and out with cold water. Pat it dry with paper towels. 2. In a large bowl, mix together the sofrito, orange juice, lime juice, olive oil, cumin, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper to make the marinade. 3. Place the turkey in a large resealable bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 12 hours, or overnight. 4. Preheat your oven to 350°F. 5. Remove the turkey from the marinade and place it in a large roasting pan. Discard the marinade. 6. Roast the turkey for about 4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Baste the turkey with the pan juices every 30 minutes. 7. Remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before carving.
