- 1 cup rice sevai (rice noodles)
- 1 cup grated jaggery
- 1 cup grated coconut

- A heavy-bottomed pan
- A ladle

Method
- Heat ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan and add the rice sevai to it. Roast until it turns light brown in color, and set aside.
- In the same pan, add grated jaggery and water. Heat on medium flame until the jaggery dissolves completely in the water.
- Add grated coconut to the jaggery and water mixture and mix well.
- Let the mixture cook on medium heat until it starts to thicken, which should take about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the mixture thickens, add roasted rice sevai to it and mix well.
- Add cardamom powder and a pinch of salt to the mixture, and mix well.
- Cook for another 5-7 minutes until all the ingredients are well combined.
- Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool down for a few minutes.
- You can add nuts and raisins at this point if you like.
- Garnish with some grated coconut and serve hot or cold.
Notes
- You can adjust the amount of jaggery and coconut according to your taste preference.
- You can also add more or less water depending on how thick or thin you want the mixture to be.
- If you don't have rice sevai, you can use vermicelli instead.
