- 12 rice paper wrappers
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup red cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 red pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup cilantro leaves
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
Equipment
- Large bowl
- Large plate
- Sharp knife
- Cutting board
- Small mixing bowl
Method
- Prepare the chicken by shredding it into small pieces and set aside.
- Prepare the vegetables by slicing the red cabbage, avocado, and red pepper into thin strips and set aside.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the lime juice, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sriracha sauce to make the dressing.
- Fill a large bowl with warm water and soak one rice paper wrapper at a time for 10-15 seconds until soft and pliable.
- Place the soaked rice paper wrapper onto a large plate.
- Add a small amount of each ingredient onto the center of the wrapper.
- Fold the bottom of the wrapper over the ingredients and then fold in the sides.
- Roll the wrapper tightly to create a taco shape.
- Repeat with the remaining rice paper wrappers and ingredients.
- Drizzle the dressing over the top of the tacos and garnish with cilantro leaves.
Notes
Rice paper tacos can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, but they are best enjoyed immediately after making. You can also switch up the ingredients to create different flavor combinations.Nutrition Info
